Cop Craft

Cop Craft is a Japanese light novel series written by Shoji Gatoh and illustrated by Range Murata. The series follows the story of San-Teresa City, which becomes a melting pot of cultures and species after a hyperspace gate appears in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, connecting Earth to a strange world filled with fairies and monsters. However, with the population boom, issues such as drugs, prostitution, and human trafficking also become rampant. To combat the rampant crime lurking in the city's shadows, a new department was established in the San-Teresa Metropolitan Police. Kei Matoba, a former JSDF soldier and one of the best cops in the department, is assigned to work with Tilarna Exedilica, a noble knight from the Farbani Kingdom. Tilarna's mission is to rescue a kidnapped fairy that Kei encountered in his last case. Despite his dislike of non-humans, Kei accepts the arrangement at the request of his superiors. Now, the unlikely duo must overcome their differences to return the missing fairy to her country and avenge the death of Kei's partner. The series was adapted into an anime in 2019, produced by Millepensee.
