True Cooking Master Boy

True Cooking Master Boy, also known as Shin Chūka Ichiban!, is a Japanese manga and anime series set in 19th-century China. The story follows Liu Maoxing, a young chef who becomes the youngest to pass the special chef exam. He embarks on a journey to improve his cooking skills, encountering friends and rivals along the way. He battles the sinister "Underground Cooking Society" and searches for legendary cooking utensils. The series is known for its exaggerated cooking techniques and unique characters. It combines food, adventure, and friendship. Originally titled Cooking Master Boy, it was later renamed True Cooking Master Boy. The series has been adapted into anime and television dramas, with the newer anime series starting in 2019. This newer version more closely follows the manga's later plot and incorporates new animation techniques, greatly enhancing the visual appeal. The series has a widespread fan base, not only in Japan but also internationally.
