"Asteroid in Love" (Japanese: 恋する小惑星, Koisuru Asteroid) is a Japanese four-panel manga series created by Quro, serialized in Houbunsha's manga magazine Manga Time Kirara Carat from March 2017 to August 2024. The story follows Mira Kinohata, who as a child met a boy named Ao and promised to discover new asteroids together. Upon entering high school, Mira joins the astronomy club, which has merged with the geological research society to form the Earth Sciences Club. There, she reunites with Ao, who turns out to be a girl named Ao Manaka. Together with other members of the Earth Sciences Club, they begin their club activities with the goal of discovering new asteroids. An anime adaptation by Doga Kobo aired in January 2020 for 12 episodes. The anime focuses on a heartwarming daily life with astronomy and geology themes, depicting the youth story of girls striving for their dreams.
