Try Knights

Try Knights (トライナイツ, Torainaitsu) is a Japanese rugby manga series written by Shunsaku Yano and illustrated by Chizuka Erisawa, with original character designs by Rihito Takarai. It was serialized in Media Factory's shōjo manga magazine Monthly Comic Gene from June 15, 2018, to August 16, 2019, and was collected in three tankōbon volumes. An anime television series adaptation by Gonzo aired from July 30 to October 15, 2019. The story revolves around two high school students with contrasting personalities: Riku Haruma, an intellectual who had given up rugby due to his physique, and Akira Kariya, a physically gifted player who displays incredible talent on the field. Riku, after watching Akira play, couldn't help but offer precise advice, which rekindled Akira's passion for rugby. Motivated by each other, the two join the rugby team and embark on a passionate journey of youth. Try Knights is not just an anime about rugby, but also tells the story of how young people overcome difficulties and achieve self-growth while pursuing their dreams.
