The film centers on three adult women who grew up watching Ojamajo Doremi: Sora Nagase (22, a college student aspiring to be a teacher), Mire Yoshizuki (27, a returnee working in Tokyo), and Reika Kawatani (20, a freelance worker). They meet through a shared childhood connection to the show and embark on a journey of self-discovery and finding meaning in their lives. Their travels take them to locations associated with the Ojamajo Doremi series, where they revisit childhood dreams and friendships. The film explores the challenges contemporary women face in their careers, family lives, and relationships, showcasing how they find strength by reconnecting with their childhood aspirations. It won the Best Animation Film Award at the 75th Mainichi Film Awards. The movie is both a heartfelt and insightful tribute to the Ojamajo Doremi series and a compelling coming-of-age story on its own.
