Sword Art Online: Alicization - War of Underworld

Sword Art Online: Alicization - War of Underworld is the second half of the third season of the Sword Art Online anime series, adapting the latter part of the "Alicization Arc" from Reki Kawahara's light novel series, Sword Art Online. Picking up where Sword Art Online: Alicization left off, the story follows Kirito after he falls into a coma due to brain damage sustained from an attack in the real world. He is taken to Underworld for treatment, a virtual world that also becomes embroiled in war due to external invasions. In the midst of this conflict, Asuna and her friends fight to defend their new allies, while Alice Synthesis Thirty embarks on a journey towards the World's End Altar, pursued by Gabriel Miller. Meanwhile, members of Rath are strategizing to restore Kirito's damaged fluctlight, while intruders in the control room have their own plans. Amidst death and despair, when all hope seems lost, a familiar voice reaches out to Kirito, saying, "I will always be by your side." Sword Art Online: Alicization - War of Underworld serves as the epic conclusion to Akihiko Kayaba's dream of creating artificial human intelligence. It is now up to Kirito and his friends to protect this collapsing world from those who still think it's just a game.
