"Dragon Force: Rise of Ultraman" is a Chinese animated film released on January 18, 2019, directed by Wang Wei. It's the second Ultraman animation film by BlueArc Culture, following the 2017 film "Dragon Force: So Long Ultraman". The movie tells the story of Ultraman joining forces with a young boy named "Lele" to save the Earth. The film's release was announced on November 13, 2018, along with the first poster revealing Lele's character. The premiere took place in Beijing on January 13, 2019, and the film officially debuted in mainland China on January 18. However, the film faced licensing disputes involving the copyright of Eiji Tsuburaya. Despite the controversy, "Dragon Force: Rise of Ultraman" achieved some box office success, leading to the sequel animated series "Dragon Force 2: Power of Ultraman" and "Dragon Force 2: Dragonsoul Awakened."
