The Quintessential Quintuplets 2

The Quintessential Quintuplets ∬ (Go-Tōbun no Hanayome ∬) is the second season of the anime television series The Quintessential Quintuplets, based on the manga series of the same name by Negi Haruba. The story continues from the first season, following the academically gifted but socially awkward protagonist, Futaro Uesugi, as he continues to tutor the Nakano quintuplet sisters. With Futaro's diligent guidance, the quintuplets' academic performance begins to show signs of improvement, although their path to graduation is still rocky. However, as Futaro becomes increasingly involved in their personal lives, his relationship with each of the five sisters becomes more complicated. At the same time, Futaro slowly begins to realize a possible connection between himself and the past he believes to have shared with one of the girls. With everyone's feelings developing and overlapping, it remains to be seen if their bond will remain strictly teacher-student or evolve into something more. This season was produced by Bibury Animation Studios and aired from January to March 2021.
