Fairy Gone (2019)

Fairy Gone is an original Japanese anime television series produced by P.A. Works that aired in 2019. The series is set in a world where humans can transplant organs from animals possessed by fairies to gain the ability to summon fairies as weapons. These individuals, known as "Fairy Soldiers," were widely used in war. Nine years after the war, the world is still unstable, with rogue Fairy Soldiers and criminals exploiting the postwar chaos. To combat this threat, the government formed "Dorothea," an agency dedicated to combating illegal fairy users. The story follows Marlya, a new recruit at Dorothea, as she teams up with veteran Fairy Soldier Free to track down her long-lost friend Veronica, who is now working for a mysterious organization and seeks to recover an artifact known as the "Black Fairy Tome." The anime aired in two parts, the first from April to June 2019 and the second from October to December 2019, totaling 24 episodes.
