Deca-Dence

Deca-Dence is an original anime television series produced by NUT, which aired from July to September 2020. The story is set in the late 2400s, when air pollution has reached lethal levels. Humanity is threatened not only by extinction but also by the emergence of unknown creatures called Gadoll, which caused the death of 90% of the world's population. To survive, humans built the 3000-meter-high mobile fortress 'Deca-dence'. Residents of the fortress are divided into two categories: the 'Gears' who fight and the 'Tankers' who provide support. The story revolves around Natsume, a Tanker girl who dreams of becoming a Gear, and Kaburagi, a seemingly indifferent armor repairman. After they meet, they discover a secret hidden beneath the surface of the world. Deca-Dence's world incorporates elements of science fiction, action, and dystopia, and its unique setting and engaging plot have attracted the attention of many viewers.
