"Dragon Goes House-Hunting" (Japanese: ドラゴン、家を買う, Doragon, Ie o Kau.) is a Japanese fantasy manga series written by Kawo Tanuki and illustrated by Choco Aya. It began serialization in Mag Garden's shōnen manga magazine Monthly Comic Garden in December 2016 and has been collected in ten tankōbon volumes. The story follows a cowardly dragon who, after failing to meet his family's expectations of being fearsome, is kicked out and embarks on a quest to find a new home. In a fantasy world filled with elves, dwarves, and other mythical creatures, he finds that life on the road is difficult and everyone wants a piece of him. The frustrations of house-hunting reach a new level. The manga is licensed in North America by Seven Seas Entertainment. An anime television series adaptation by Signal.MD aired from April to June 2021, directed by Haruki Kasugamori. The series is known for its light-hearted humor and its unique blend of fantasy world and real estate searching.
