Assault Lily: Bouquet

Assault Lily: Bouquet (アサルトリリィ BOUQUET) is a Japanese television anime series produced by Shaft, which aired from October to December 2020. It is based on the Assault Lily toy line. The story is set in the near future where humanity is threatened by mysterious giant creatures called "Huge". To combat this threat, teenage girls known as "Lilies" use the energy within their bodies called "Magie" to power weapons called "CHARM" (Counter Huge ARMS). The anime primarily focuses on the Hitotsuyanagi Team at Yurigaoka Girls' Academy, depicting their journey to become Lilies and protect Earth. The main character, Riri Hitotsuyanagi, was saved by a Lily two years prior and vowed to become one herself. She joins Yurigaoka Girls' Academy and meets Yuyu Shirai, the Lily who saved her, only to discover that Yuyu is quite different from her expectations. Despite this, Riri is determined to befriend Yuyu and grow together with other Lilies. The anime loosely adapts the first half of the stage play "League of Gardens", diverging from the play's plot after episode six.
