Healin` Good Pretty Cure

"Healin' Good♥Pretty Cure" (ヒーリングっど♥プリキュア) is a Japanese magical girl anime series produced by Toei Animation, marking the seventeenth installment in the Pretty Cure franchise. It aired on TV Asahi from February 2, 2020, to February 21, 2021. The series focuses on themes of health, nature, and animals, depicting the story of three girls, Nodoka Hanadera and others, who meet apprentice healing animal doctors from the "Healing Garden" and transform into Pretty Cure to fight the "Byogens," who aim to infect Earth with disease. They strive to protect the planet and all life alongside Latte, the princess of the Healing Garden. A fourth Pretty Cure, Asumi Fuurin, with the power of wind, is also introduced. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the series experienced a broadcasting hiatus and was ultimately reduced to 45 episodes, the shortest in the series. The series emphasizes bonds between partners, compassion, and the meaning of “living,” while highlighting the importance of co-existence and prosperity for all life on Earth. It won the Grand Prix for work division for the first time in the 43rd Anime Grand Prix held by Animage magazine, and the protagonist Nodoka Hanadera was also chosen as the 1st in the Female Character division.
