"Life Lessons with Uramichi Oniisan" (うらみちお兄さん), also known as "Uramichi Oniisan" or "Life Lessons with Uramichi-Oniisan," is a Japanese comedy manga series created by Gaku Kuze. It began serialization on May 12, 2017, in Ichijinsha's Comic POOL digital manga magazine. The story centers around Uramichi Omota, a 31-year-old former gymnast who works as an exercise instructor on the children's show "Together with Maman." Despite his cheerful on-screen persona, Uramichi harbors deep-seated weariness and disillusionment with adult life. He frequently lets his true feelings slip during the show, much to the bewilderment of the young viewers and the amusement of audiences. The manga is known for its dark humor and satirical take on societal realities. The series won the web manga category of Niconico's Next Manga Award in 2017. An anime adaptation by Studio Blanc aired in 2021, further popularizing the series.
