Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club

Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club is a spin-off project from the Love Live! franchise, co-developed by ASCII Media Works' Dengeki G's magazine, the music label Lantis, and the anime studio Sunrise. The project was first teased in 2017 as the "PERFECT Dream Project" and was initially created for the mobile game Love Live! School Idol Festival ALL STARS. Unlike μ's and Aqours, the Nijigasaki High School Idol Club consists of individual school idols who compete with each other while working together to keep their club alive. The project includes various forms of media such as anime, manga, games, and music. The first season of the anime aired in 2020, and the second season aired in 2022, with an OVA and theatrical films also produced. The members include the original nine members, as well as three later additions. They are divided into four sub-units: DiverDiva, A・ZU・NA, QU4RTZ, and R3BIRTH. The project emphasizes the individuality and uniqueness of each solo idol, as well as their cooperation and friendship.
