Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai

Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai (Japanese: DRAGON QUEST ダイの大冒険) is a Japanese manga series based on the Dragon Quest video game franchise, written by Riku Sanjo and illustrated by Koji Inada. In 2020, the manga was adapted into an anime series of the same name, produced by Toei Animation. This anime is a remake of the 1991 series and faithfully covers the complete manga storyline in 100 episodes. It tells the story of the protagonist Dai and his companions as they embark on an adventure to protect the world from the evil forces of the Dark Lord Hadlar and his master, the Dark King Vearn. The anime utilizes a blend of 2D and CG animation and is simulcast with English subtitles on platforms like Crunchyroll and Hulu. An English dub version is also available and offered on various download platforms. This work is not only a reinterpretation of the classic manga but also a tribute to the Dragon Quest series, beloved by both new and longtime fans.
