Back Arrow

Back Arrow (バック・アロウ) is an original Japanese anime series produced by Studio VOLN, directed by Gorō Taniguchi, and written by Kazuki Nakashima. The series aired from January to June 2021, with a total of 24 episodes. The story takes place in the world of Lingalind, a land surrounded by a massive wall. The inhabitants of Lingalind worship the wall as a god, believing it to be the protector and provider of their world. Periodically, the wall sends down capsules known as Rakuho, containing resources and metal armbands called Bind Warpers, which allow their wearers to transform into giant mechanical armor called Briheights. Lingalind is mainly dominated by two powerful nations: the Republic of Lutoh, valuing intelligence and diplomacy, and the Empire of Rekka, valuing honor and strength. These two nations are constantly in conflict over land and Rakuho. One day, an amnesiac man named Back Arrow appears in Edger Village on the outskirts of Lingalind. Claiming to be from beyond the wall, he embarks on a journey to regain his memory, becoming entangled in the conflict between the two nations and gradually uncovering the truth about the world.
