Burn the Witch

Burn the Witch is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tite Kubo. Set in the same universe as Kubo's previous work, Bleach, it takes place in "Reverse London", a hidden realm where dragons are visible to those with magical abilities. The story revolves around two witches, Ninny Spangcole and Noel Niihashi, who work for the Wing Bind organization. They are tasked with protecting London from dragons and managing dragon-related incidents. Ninny is a popular idol singer in the front world, while Noel is a more stoic and pragmatic witch. Their duties involve capturing, taming, or exterminating dragons that pose a threat to humans. They also look after a boy named Balgo Parks, who has a unique connection with dragons. The series explores themes of magic, dragons, and fantasy, set against the backdrop of modern London, and follows the adventures of the two protagonists in their work and personal lives. It initially began as a one-shot manga before becoming a serialized manga series, and has been adapted into an anime film and an OVA.
