My Hero Academia Season 5

The fifth season of the My Hero Academia anime, produced by Bones, continues the story of Kōhei Horikoshi's original manga, covering volumes 21 through 26. The season aired in two cours from March 27 to September 25, 2021, on ytv and NTV in Japan. It primarily encompasses the conclusion of the "Pro Hero" arc, the "Joint Training" arc, the "Meta Liberation Army" arc (with parts airing under the title "My Villain Academia"), and the "Endeavor Agency" arc, setting the stage for the "Paranormal Liberation War" arc. In this season, Izuku Midoriya dreams about the vestiges of previous One For All users during the Joint Training Battle. Meanwhile, the League of Villains and the Meta Liberation Army meet in Deika City to determine who will become the most infamous villains. Tomura Shigaraki is informed of his destiny to succeed All For One, leading him to merge the two organizations under his rule. Simultaneously, the Hero Public Safety Commission orders a second Hero Work-Studies for the students in preparation for the impending war.
