Talentless Nana

Talentless Nana (Japanese: 無能なナナ, Hepburn: Munō na Nana) is a Japanese manga series written by Looseboy and illustrated by Iori Furuya. The story is set in a near future where monsters known as the "Enemies of Humanity" appear, and simultaneously, children with supernatural powers called the "Talented" emerge. To prepare for the battle against these monsters, the Talented are sent to a special school on a remote island. While seemingly friendly and cheerful, she is actually a government assassin tasked with eliminating the Talented, whom the government considers the real threat. The plot revolves around Nana's use of intelligence and manipulation to assassinate her classmates, creating a suspenseful and twist-filled narrative that combines elements of school life with a grim survival struggle, showcasing the complexities and darkness of human nature. The manga has been serialized in Square Enix's Monthly Shōnen Gangan since May 2016 and was adapted into an anime television series that aired from October to December 2020. The series blends superpower, mystery, and school genres, appealing to a wide audience.
