"Despair Crusher Girl ∞ Amida" is an original short animation co-produced by the mobile game "Monster Strike" and animation studio MADHOUSE. The story follows Amida, an ordinary high school girl who is chosen by the alien Infinity X to become a hero against the "Despair People." These "Despair People" have lost their sense of self due to negative emotions and are parasitized by monsters, causing social problems. Amida gains the ability to enter people's mental worlds and fight monsters using the "Power of Image." As she continues to battle, Amida gradually realizes that defeating monsters also takes away parts of the hosts' memories. When her best friend also turns into a "Despair Person," Amida faces an even greater challenge. The short film is directed by Daiki Harashina and features the theme song "NO NAME" by the girl rock band "Kaneyori Masaru." The animation is high-quality, blending the world of "Monster Strike" with MADHOUSE's animation style. Additionally, Amida also appears as a limited character in the game "Monster Strike," with various forms, each with different skills and abilities.
