The manga has been serialized on Mag Garden's MAGCOMI website since December 2016. The story follows Kinji Ninomiya, a NEET who has amassed a large fortune through real estate investments. He originally lived a leisurely life of doing nothing in his penthouse apartment. Desperate to escape poverty, Kinji tries to rebuild his finances by any means necessary, assembling an unusual adventuring party, the titular "black company", in the process.
