The anime aired from January to April 2021 on the Animeism programming block. The story is set in the fictional "Akatsuki Special Ward" of Tokyo, which has become a "lawless" independent state after the "Akatsuki Rebellion" overthrew the corporate rulers. To maintain order, three organizations exist: Helios, Artemis, and the Public Security Special Service, all of whom employ agents known as "Scard."
