Horimiya

Horimiya (Japanese: ホリミヤ) is a Japanese manga series written by HERO and illustrated by Daisuke Hagiwara. It is an adaptation of HERO's webcomic series, Hori-san to Miyamura-kun. The story revolves around the seemingly popular and academically gifted Kyoko Hori, and the quiet, seemingly nerdy Izumi Miyamura. However, Hori is actually a homebody who takes care of her younger brother, while Miyamura is a fashionable guy with many piercings and tattoos. The two meet unexpectedly outside of school and discover each other's hidden sides, leading to a lighthearted and heartwarming school romance. The work is widely popular for its unique characters, charmingly contrasting personalities, and delicate emotional portrayals. It has been adapted into various formats, including a TV anime, live-action drama, and movie. The anime has two seasons, the first being the 2021 Horimiya, and the second being the 2023 Horimiya: The Missing Pieces.
