The Honor at Magic High School

"The Honor Student at Magic High School" is a spin-off manga and anime series of "The Irregular at Magic High School." The story is based on the same world as the original series, but mainly follows the perspective of the female protagonist, Miyuki Shiba. Set in the near future where magic has become a real technology, the story depicts various events that happen in the magic high school where Miyuki is an honor student, as well as her interactions with her brother, Tatsuya Shiba, and other friends. Unlike "The Irregular at Magic High School," which primarily focuses on Tatsuya Shiba, "The Honor Student at Magic High School" emphasizes Miyuki's inner world, emotional changes, and social life, presenting the story with a cuter art style and a shoujo manga-like approach. The anime adaptation aired from July to September 2021, with 13 episodes. The plot covers the early part of the original manga, corresponding to the timeline of the main series, but reinterprets the story from a different perspective.
