Odd Taxi

Odd Taxi is an original Japanese anime series produced by OLM and P.I.C.S., directed by Baku Kinoshita and written by Kazuya Konomoto. Set in a world of anthropomorphic animals, it tells the story of Hiroshi Odokawa, a 41-year-old walrus taxi driver. Odokawa, an introverted individual, has conversations with various passengers, including a college student seeking fame, a mysterious nurse, a struggling comedy duo, and a local delinquent. These seemingly mundane conversations gradually entangle him in the disappearance of a high school girl, drawing the attention of both the police and the yakuza. The anime aired from April to June 2021 and was well-received for its unique narrative style and engaging plot. In addition to the anime, it has spawned manga, audio dramas, novels, and a theatrical film, further expanding the Odd Taxi universe.
