"Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion Z THE ANIMATION" is the second season of the "Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion" anime series, which aired in Japan from April 2021 to March 2022. Set several years after the previous series, the Shinkansen Ultra Evolution Institute develops a new type of robot called "Shinkalion Z" and enhanced support vehicles called "Zailiners" to combat new enemies. The story features Shin Arata and Abuto Usui as dual protagonists, who, along with other children with high compatibility, pilot the Shinkalion Z to confront the reappearing Giant Monstrous Beings. The story introduces new characters, new combination methods, and connections to characters from the previous series. This season maintains the foundations of the previous work while attempting new challenges and garnered widespread attention after its airing. In addition to thrilling battle scenes, the anime also explores the growth and friendship of the main characters.
