The Seven Deadly Sins: Cursed by Light (Japanese: 劇場版 七つの大罪 光に呪われし者たち) is a 2021 Japanese animated fantasy action film directed by Takayuki Hamana and written by Rintarō Ikeda. It is based on the manga series The Seven Deadly Sins by Nakaba Suzuki. This is the second film in the series, taking place between the last two episodes of the fourth season of the anime and covering the manga's final chapter. The film follows the Seven Deadly Sins as they reunite six months after defeating the Demon King and Cath Palug, to celebrate Meliodas and Elizabeth's wedding and coronation and confront new threats. These threats include the missing Second Fairy King Dahlia and the Giant Master Craftsman Dubs, as well as the revived Goddess Race and the Supreme Deity. The Seven Deadly Sins ultimately defeat the Supreme Deity, and Meliodas and Zeldris reconcile. The film was released in Japan on July 2, 2021, and streamed on Netflix on October 1, 2021.
