My Isekai Life: I Gained a Second Character Class and Became the Strongest Sage in the World!

"My Isekai Life: I Gained a Second Character Class and Became the Strongest Sage in the World!" (Japanese: 転生賢者の異世界ライフ〜第二の職業を得て、世界最強になりました〜, Tensei Kenja no Isekai Life ~Daini no Shokugyō o Ete, Sekai Saikyō ni Narimashita~), often shortened to "My Isekai Life," is a Japanese light novel series written by Shinkoshoto and illustrated by Huuka Kazabana. The story follows Yuji Sano, a corporate worker who toils relentlessly both at work and at home. One day, a message appears on his computer summoning him to another world. Initially, he believes it's a dream, but upon waking, he realizes he's truly in a fantasy world. He discovers he's become a "Monster Tamer," considered the weakest class. However, he befriends many slimes who grant him vast magical knowledge, leading him to gain a second class, "Sage." Despite his newfound power, he longs to return to his original world. The series began serialization online in October 2017 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō and was later acquired by SB Creative, who began publishing it as a light novel under their GA Novel imprint in May 2018. A manga adaptation, illustrated by Ponjea, began serialization in July 2018 on Square Enix's Manga UP! website. An anime television series adaptation by Revoroot aired from July to September 2022.
