"The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody" is a Japanese light novel series written by Myōjin Katō and illustrated by Sao Mizuno. The story follows the powerful Demon Lord Varvatos, who, bored with his life, decides to reincarnate as an ordinary person. He is reborn 3,000 years later as Ard Meteor, a rural boy. However, he discovers that the people of the modern world have extremely low magical abilities, and even after deliberately weakening himself, he is far stronger than everyone else. Thus, he becomes overpowered once again. After entering a magic academy, Ard meets Ireena Litz de Olhyde, an elf, and Ginny Fin de Salvan, a succubus. The three go on adventures together, while Ireena and Ginny compete for Ard's affection. The series has been adapted into light novels, manga, and an anime series. The anime, produced by Silver Link and Blade, aired in 2022.
