The second season of "The Devil Is a Part-Timer!" (Japanese: はたらく魔王さま!!) is a Japanese anime series based on the light novels of the same name by Satoshi Wagahara. The story follows Demon Lord Satan, who, after being defeated by the hero Emilia Justina while attempting to conquer the world of Ente Isla, is forced to flee to modern-day Tokyo. In Tokyo, Satan takes on the alias Sadao Maou and works at a fast-food restaurant, while Emilia also appears, going by the name Emi Yusa, as a call center operator. Season 2 is produced by 3Hz and directed by Daisuke Tsukushi. The first part of the second season aired from July to September 2022, with 12 episodes. The second part aired from July to September 2023, also with 12 episodes. The season explores Maou and Emi's lives in Tokyo and their struggles with new characters and crises, including a mysterious toddler, Alas Ramus, and the appearance of the angel Gabriel. The story involves the former demon lord and hero having to put their past differences aside to protect what they hold dear. The series is known for its humor, heartwarming moments, and unique isekai reverse setting.
