"Akebi's Sailor Uniform" (Japanese: 明日ちゃんのセーラー服, Hepburn: Akebi-chan no Sērāfuku) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hiro. It has been serialized online via Shueisha's Tonari no Young Jump website since August 2016. The series, themed around youth and school life, centers on Komichi Akebi, a first-year junior high school girl who has always admired sailor uniforms and is eventually allowed to wear her own handmade sailor uniform to school. The story unfolds around Akebi's friendships with her classmates and depicts their daily lives at Roubai Academy. An anime adaptation produced by CloverWorks aired from January to March 2022. The series has been praised for its beautiful animation, heartwarming character interactions, and portrayal of subtle emotions during adolescence. The manga has been compiled into 14 tankōbon volumes, and the anime has 12 episodes.
