"Skeleton Knight in Another World" (Japanese: 骸骨騎士様、只今異世界へお出掛け中, Gaikotsu Kishi-sama, Tadaima Isekai e Odekake-chū) is a Japanese light novel series written by Ennki Hakari and illustrated by KeG. The story revolves around a gamer who falls asleep while playing a game and awakens in a new world as his in-game character – a skeleton knight. To avoid being mistaken for a monster, he decides to hide his true identity and become an adventurer. He encounters a noblewoman and her maid who were being attacked, a fox named Ponta becomes his companion, and gets involved in a battle to save enslaved elves and meets Ariane, a female elf warrior. He embarks on a journey with Ariane, hoping to lift his skeletal curse, end the slave trade, and realizes they might be fighting a more potent force. The light novel has been adapted into manga and anime, with the first season of the anime airing in 2022, and a second season announced in December 2024.
