Miss Kuroitsu from the Monster Development Department

"Miss Kuroitsu from the Monster Development Department" (Japanese: 怪人開発部の黒井津さん, Kaijin Kaihatsubu no Kuroitsu-san) is a Japanese comedy manga series written and illustrated by Hiroaki Mizusaki. The story revolves around Touka Kuroitsu, an assistant in the Monster Development Department of the evil organization Agastia. She faces not only challenges from heroes of justice but also the whims of her boss, unreasonable demands from higher-ups, and various budget and resource issues. The manga has been serialized on Flex Comix's Comic Meteor website since 2019, and was adapted into a 12-episode television anime series produced by Quad in 2022. The anime adaptation also added original characters and plots, and incorporated local heroes from various parts of Japan. The series is known for its alternative perspective on evil organizations and its satire of corporate daily life. It primarily follows Kuroitsu's daily efforts to work hard within a seemingly evil organization, balancing work challenges and pursuing her personal career goals.
