"Chained Soldier", known in Japan as "Mato Seihei no Slave" (魔都精兵のスレイブ), is a Japanese manga series written by Takahiro and illustrated by Yohei Takemura. It began serialization on Shueisha's Shōnen Jump+ online platform on January 5, 2019. The story is set in a world where gates to another dimension called "Mato" open, unleashing monsters. Women are empowered by a resource called "Peaches", gaining supernatural abilities, while men are relegated to second-class citizens. Yuuki Wakura, the male protagonist, is saved by Kyouka Uzen, the commander of the Anti-demon Corps, and becomes her "slave", granting him the power to transform into a powerful beast mount. He joins Kyouka's team to fight the monsters and uncover the secrets of Mato. The manga has been adapted into an anime series, with the first season airing from January to March 2024, and a second season announced.
