メガトン級ムサシ (2022)

"Megaton Musashi" (メガトン級ムサシ) is a Japanese multimedia franchise created by Level-5, encompassing video games, anime, and more. The game was released in Japan in November 2021 for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4, with subsequent free-to-play versions like "Megaton Musashi X" and "Megaton Musashi W(Wired)". Set in the near future, Earth is invaded by the alien Draktors, pushing humanity to the brink of extinction. Survivors are placed in shelters with their memories suppressed, while the unified world government secretly develops giant mechs called "Rogues" to fight back. The protagonists, as pilots of the new "Megaton-Class Rogues," are tasked with saving the planet. The anime adaptation by OLM aired its first season from October to December 2021 and its second season from October 2022 to March 2023. It blends mech battles, school life, and the exploration of human survival in a post-apocalyptic setting. The game also receives ongoing updates, featuring collaborations with various robot anime series such as "Mazinger Z" and "UFO Robot Grendizer."
