Onipan!

Onipan! (おにぱん！) is an original Japanese television anime produced by WIT STUDIO. The anime is set in a world where humans and oni coexist, and it tells the story of three oni girls from Onigashima (Oni Island): Tsutsuji (a red oni), Himawari (a yellow oni), and Tsuyukusa (a blue oni). Their mission is to improve the image of oni, so they transfer to a middle school in Tokyo. They gain power by wearing oni pants and use it to overcome various challenges. The anime aired in the spring of 2022 as a segment in the children's program "OHA SUTA", with each episode lasting 3 minutes and five episodes making up a complete story. The series has gained attention for its unique setting and contrasting character designs. It’s themed around “a story of love, friendship, and panties,” though it avoids any sexually suggestive content, instead using humor and exaggeration. It also incorporates many elements related to oni and fairy tales. The opening theme song is "Onipapapan! Pan!" by Onipan's!, an idol group formed for this anime.
