"Helck" is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Nanao Nanaki, which has also been adapted into an anime. The story revolves around a powerful human warrior named Helck, who participates in the Demon World's tournament to select a new Demon King after the previous one is defeated. Helck outwardly claims to want to destroy all humans, but his true motives are hidden. He is tall and muscular, usually shirtless with a red cape, blue hair and eyes, which turn black when he goes berserk. Despite his rugged appearance, Helck is actually a soft-hearted and naive person who easily trusts others and tries to stay positive in any situation. He is exceptionally strong, possessing superhuman strength, speed, durability, and regeneration, and is also proficient in hand-to-hand combat and swordsmanship. Throughout the competition, he demonstrates incredible power, while his true intentions and past remain shrouded in mystery. In the story, he joins forces with Vamirio, one of the Four Heavenly Kings of the Demon World, and gradually uncovers the truth behind everything, eventually confronting the human world. In addition, there is also a person named Hans Helck, who was a German classical philologist and educator who served as the rector of the Dresden Kreuzschule and a professor at the Dresden University of Technology. His son, Hans Wolfgang Helck, was a renowned Egyptologist. These two Helcks are completely unrelated, please pay attention to the distinction.
