Housing Complex C

Housing Complex C is a Japanese horror anime miniseries that premiered in October 2022 on Adult Swim's Toonami programming block in the United States. Directed by Yūji Nara, with script and original concept by amphibian, and animated by Akatsuki, the series is set in the fictional seaside town of Kurosaki, focusing on Kimi, a young girl living in the low-cost apartment complex known as "Housing Complex C." Strange occurrences begin after new residents move in, including dead animals, missing residents, and mysterious moss formations. Initially, Kimi is implied to be involved, but the truth is revealed that the Koshide family are performing sacrifices to resurrect a Cthulhu-esque god named Kuzululu. Kimi is revealed to be an ancient god named Iyoyoloki Soyohosu, who has been manipulating Kurosaki's residents to relive the year 2000 in order to test humanity's worthiness. Ultimately, she destroys the Koshide family and lifts the illusion on Kurosaki, leaving only one survivor, Kan.
