"The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World" (Japanese: 冰剣の魔術師が世界を統べる, Hepburn: Hyōken no Majutsushi ga Sekai o Suberu) is a Japanese light novel series written by Nana Mikoshiba and illustrated by Riko Korie. It began serialization online on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō in October 2019. It was later acquired by Kodansha, who has published the series under their Kodansha Ranobe Bunko imprint since July 2020. A manga adaptation illustrated by Norihito Sasaki was serialized on Kodansha's Magazine Pocket website and app from June 2020 to January 2024. An anime television series adaptation produced by Cloud Hearts aired from January to March 2023. The story follows Ray White, the Iceblade Sorcerer, who, after winning a major war, decides to enroll in Arnold Academy as a commoner, causing disdain from noble-born students. Despite this, he makes friends and must solve a conspiracy plaguing the school.
