ウマ娘 プリティーダービー Road to the Top

"Uma Musume: Pretty Derby Road to the Top" is an original net animation focusing on three horse girls of the 1999 classic generation: Narita Top Road, Admire Vega, and T.M. Opera O. It premiered on YouTube's "Paka Tube!" channel in April 2023, consisting of 4 episodes. The story revolves around the intense competition among these three horse girls as they strive to prove themselves in the Classic Triple Crown races (Satsuki Sho, Japanese Derby, and Kikuka Sho). Narita Top Road carries the hopes of her classmates and coach, Admire Vega runs to honor her deceased sister, and T.M. Opera O firmly believes in her destiny to become the strongest. The animation features a compact structure, intense race scenes, and minimizes the usual comedic elements, highlighting each of the three horse girls' inner struggles and strong convictions. In 2024, a re-edited version with added scenes was released in theaters, offering a richer experience for fans.
