Yuri Is My Job!

"Yuri Is My Job!" (Japanese: 私の百合はお仕事です!, Watashi no Yuri wa Oshigoto Desu!) is a Japanese yuri manga series written and illustrated by Miman. It began serialization in Ichijinsha's Comic Yuri Hime in November 2016. The story revolves around Hime Shiraki, a high school girl who cares deeply about her image as a sweet and helpful princess. When she accidentally injures a cafe manager, she agrees to work at a unique cafe called Liebe Girls Academy. The waitresses there portray students from a fictional all-girls boarding school and act as “sisters” (Schwestern) to each other. Hime becomes drawn to a fellow waitress, Mitsuki Ayanokoji, who shows her affection in front of customers but harbors resentment towards her behind the scenes. The manga is licensed in English by Kodansha USA. An anime television series adaptation by Passione and Studio Lings aired from April to June 2023. The series is known for its unique premise, character dynamics, and exploration of the yuri genre.
