Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence

"Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence" (Japanese: 白聖女と黒牧師, Hepburn: Shiro Seijo to Kuro Bokushi) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hazano Kazutake. It was originally serialized in Kodansha's Shōnen Magazine R online magazine from April 2017 to January 2023, and then transferred to the Monthly Maga Kichi website in February 2023. The story revolves around Saint Cecilia, a beloved but lazy saint, and Pastor Lawrence, a diligent and overprotective pastor who is also a skilled cook. Set in a small church, it depicts their daily lives and the unintentional romantic comedy that unfolds as they navigate their slow-moving relationship. Cecilia, while appearing dignified in front of villagers, reveals her lazy side when alone with Lawrence. The manga has been adapted into a 12-episode anime television series produced by Doga Kobo, which aired from July to September 2023. It's known for its lighthearted atmosphere and the endearing interactions between the two main characters as their feelings grow.
