Romantic Killer

"Romantic Killer" (ロマンティック・キラー, Romantikku Kirā) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Wataru Momose. It was serialized on Shueisha's Shōnen Jump+ website from July 2019 to June 2020, and compiled into four tankōbon volumes. The story revolves around Anzu Hoshino, a high school girl whose life revolves around video games, chocolate, and her beloved cat, with zero interest in romance. However, a magical creature named Riri appears, transporting her to a reality devoid of her favorite things. To return to her normal life, Anzu is forced to befriend Tsukasa Kazuki, one of the most popular boys in school, and endure a series of romantic scenarios. Despite her resistance, Anzu begins to warm up to Tsukasa. Subsequently, Riri introduces other attractive boys, making it increasingly difficult for Anzu to avoid romance. The anime adaptation of "Romantic Killer," produced by DOMERICA, was released on Netflix in October 2022. The series won first place in the second Shueisha's Jump Vertical Scrolling Manga Awards and ranked 12th in the web manga category of the Next Manga Awards in 2020.
