"My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999" is a Japanese shōjo manga series written and illustrated by Mashiro. It began serialization on Comic Smart's Ganma! manga website in March 2019. The story follows Akane Kinoshita, a college student who, after being dumped by her boyfriend, encounters Akito Yamada, a high school student and legendary gamer in the online game "Forest of Savior." Initially, Akane intends to use Yamada to get back at her ex-boyfriend, but as they interact both in and out of the game, she finds herself increasingly drawn to his personality and inner qualities. The series blends online gaming elements with school romance, depicting an unexpected romance between Akane and Yamada. The manga has been adapted into a television anime, and a live-action film is scheduled for release in March 2025. As of November 2024, the manga has been collected into ten tankōbon volumes.
