"An Archdemon's Dilemma: How to Love Your Elf Bride" (Japanese: 魔王の俺が奴隷エルフを嫁にしたんだが、どう愛でればいい？, Maō no Ore ga Dorei Erufu o Yome ni Shita ndaga, Dō Medereba ī?), also known as "Madome" for short, is a Japanese light novel series written by Fuminori Teshima and illustrated by COMTA. The story follows Zagan, a powerful sorcerer feared as an archdemon, who lives in seclusion. At a dark auction, he falls in love at first sight with a beautiful elf slave named Nephy and spends his entire fortune to purchase her. However, Zagan's social awkwardness leads to comical situations as he tries to navigate his relationship with Nephy, who longs for her master’s affection. This rom-com adventure has been adapted into a manga and an anime series, the latter of which premiered in April 2024. The anime, produced by Brain’s Base, depicts the heartwarming and humorous love story of Zagan and Nephy.
