"The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior" is a Japanese light novel series written by Tenichi. The story revolves around eight-year-old Pride Royal Ivy, who realizes she has been reincarnated as the final boss of the otome game "Our Ray of Light," a wicked queen. In the game, Pride is a sadist who is ultimately killed by her younger sister. However, the reincarnated Pride decides to change her fate. Instead of becoming a tyrant, she uses her power as the final boss and her knowledge of the game's events to save her people and kingdom. She is determined to protect the male love interests from the tragic ending. This series is popular for its unique theme and engaging plot, and it has been adapted into a manga and an anime. The manga was initially illustrated by Bunko Matsuura, but it was discontinued due to the artist's health issues and was later continued by Akiko Kawano. The anime adaptation, produced by OLM, aired in 2023 and is available on various platforms.
