Mr. Villain`s Day Off

"Mr. Villain's Day Off" (Japanese: 休日のわるものさん, Kyūjitsu no Warumono-san) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yuu Morikawa. It has been serialized on the Pixiv website since December 2018, with six tankōbon volumes released as of January 2024. The story revolves around a general of an evil organization who, despite his daily mission to wipe out humanity, spends his days off enjoying the simple pleasures of Earth. He loves visiting the zoo to see pandas, going to convenience stores, and appreciating cherry blossom trees. The comedy comes from the contrast between his villainous role and his fondness for cute things and a work-life balance. The manga has been adapted into an anime television series produced by Shin-Ei Animation and SynergySP, which aired from January to March 2024. The series is popular for its lighthearted tone and unique perspective on everyday life.
