Mask Danshi: This Shouldn't Lead to Love (マスク男子は恋したくないのに) is a Japanese yaoi manga series created by Mitsuru Sangō. It has been serialized in Libre's B-Boy P! digital magazine since November 2019 and has been collected in four tankōbon volumes. The series is published in English by Animate International. The story follows Tsuzuru Saikawa, a popular and friendly guy, who encounters Keigo Sayama, a loner who always wears a medical mask. Saikawa takes off Sayama's mask in the infirmary, causing Sayama to curse him out. Intrigued, Saikawa begins tutoring Sayama with the condition that he can do what he wants with what is under Sayama's mask. The series is known for its sexual tension, unusual premise, and complex relationships between the characters. It has also been adapted into an original animation DVD and multiple drama CDs, further expanding its reach. A new chapter focusing on the popular supporting character Terumichi Tsuruga, titled 'Mask Danshi: This Shouldn't Lead to Love 5 Tsuruga Arc,' was released in December 2024.
