五等分の花嫁∽

The Quintessential Quintuplets∽ is a romantic comedy anime television special based on the manga series The Quintessential Quintuplets by Negi Haruba. The special aired in the summer of 2023 and had a limited three-week theatrical release in Japan. It adapts original manga chapters that were not previously covered in the anime series. The story follows Fuutarou Uesugi and the five Nakano quintuplet sisters—Ichika, Nino, Miku, Yotsuba, and Itsuki—during their final summer break of high school. Fuutarou has quit his job as a tutor, but the five sisters are still studying hard for their upcoming exams. While feeling down about not being able to see Fuutarou, they unexpectedly receive a call from him. The special is directed by Yukiyasu Miyamoto, with Keiichiro Ochi responsible for the series composition, and the animation is produced by Shaft. The voice cast includes Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Fuutarou Uesugi), Kana Hanazawa (Ichika Nakano), Ayana Taketatsu (Nino Nakano), Miku Itou (Miku Nakano), Ayane Sakura (Yotsuba Nakano), and Inori Minase (Itsuki Nakano). The opening theme, "5-toubun no Mirai", and the ending theme, "Takaramono", are performed by the Nakanoke no Itsuzugo, a group consisting of the five female lead voice actresses.
